Job Requirements

- Previous experience as a sushi chef or in similar role
- Ability to work full-time or part-time
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including day, night, weekends, and holidays
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Ability to work on-site
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a sushi chef or in a similar culinary role
- Knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and Japanese cuisine
- Ability to teach and mentor kitchen staff
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic understanding of budgeting and profit and loss statements
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Passion for the food and beverage industry
Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality sushi dishes adhering to traditional and innovative recipes
- Teach sushi-making techniques to kitchen team members
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new and creative menu items
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently during day and night shifts
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen
- Budget and monitor profit and loss for the sushi station
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
