Job Requirements

  • Sushi preparation experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Strong communication and hospitality skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and bend frequently from the waist
  • Must be able to stand for long periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls with accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
  • Engage with guests at the sushi bar in a friendly and professional manner, providing product knowledge when appropriate
  • Ensure fish quality, freshness, and proper handling standards are always upheld
  • Work efficiently to keep pace with a high-volume restaurant and team service environment
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to execute menu offerings and specials
  • Follow health department standards, food safety guidelines, and all company sanitation policies
  • Perform additional prep and kitchen duties as needed
