Job Requirements
- Minimum two years experience in kitchen preparation and line cook experience
- Positive attitude and readiness to assist support staff
- Ability to read, speak, and understand basic cooking directions
- Effective communication with managers, employees, and guests
- Flexible availability for varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, push, pull, or lift occasionally

- Ability to stand and walk constantly with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting
Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare the highest quality of sushi for guests
- Compile with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies
- Provide training and guidance to other members regarding sushi culinary procedures and plating
- Prepare and present all food items, hot and cold, per sushi outlet standards
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation including tables, shelves, and refrigeration equipment
- Adhere to all cleanliness and sanitation regulations
- Close the kitchen properly following the closing checklist
- Report product shortages, equipment problems, or food quality issues promptly to the Chef
