Job Requirements

  • Two plus years of sushi-making experience
  • outgoing personality and ability to upsell
  • neat, clean and sharp appearance
  • strong customer service skills
  • great listening and communication skills with fluent English
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
  • able to work standing up to 5 hours
  • ability to remember instructions without visual aids
  • ability to follow instructions accurately without close supervision

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years sushi-making experience

  • fluent in English
  • neat, clean, and sharp appearance
  • excellent listening and communication skills
  • ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • ability to follow instructions without visual aids
  • prior experience in a fast-paced fine dining setting preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare sushi including fancy rolls and fish preparation
  • create new dishes, rolls, presentations, and sauces
  • interact with and educate guests on food knowledge at the sushi bar
  • ensure all dishes are fresh and presentable
  • maintain a clean work area
  • follow instructions accurately without close supervision
  • multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
