Job Requirements

  • At least one to two years of experience as a sushi cook
  • Culinary degree or equivalent hotel cooking experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Familiarity with sushi recipes and preparation
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Commitment to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to perform basic and intermediate cooking skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare sushi ingredients and dishes according to standardized recipes
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage workflow and kitchen operations
  • Manage inventory and order sushi supplies as needed
  • Assist with training junior kitchen staff and share culinary knowledge
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi preparation area
