Job Duties

  • prepares fresh sushi rolls, nigiri, bowls, and grab-and-go items with care, consistency, and creativity
  • maintains high standards for knife skills, portioning, presentation, and product freshness
  • upholds strict food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standards
  • ensures proper storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO) of all ingredients
  • monitors product quality throughout the day and pulls items that do not meet Rosewood standards
  • assists with ordering and receiving seafood and specialty ingredients
  • maintains a clean, organized, and inspiring sushi prep area
  • provides excellent customer service and answers questions about ingredients and preparation
  • treats customers and co-workers with courtesy and respect
  • completes side tasks as directed including cleaning prep surfaces, sanitizing equipment, maintaining display cases, and assisting the culinary team when needed
  • takes direction from the Kitchen Manager and/or RWM Leadership Team
  • assists fellow team members to ensure smooth and efficient service
