Job Requirements

  • Experience working in high-end Japanese or luxury dining establishments
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capacity to perform occasional lifting as part of restaurant operations
  • Commitment to maintaining food safety standards
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a sushi chef de partie in fine dining, Michelin, or luxury hospitality
  • Strong culinary techniques with a passion for quality and precision
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Positive, professional attitude and a true team player mentality
  • Knowledge of traditional Japanese ingredients and sushi preparation methods

Job Duties

  • Prepare authentic sushi dishes with precision and attention to detail
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all sushi ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi workstation
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
