Job Requirements
- Minimum two years’ experience in kitchen preparation and line cook experience
- positive energy and readiness to assist fellow staff and work as a team player
- ability to speak, read and understand basic cooking directions
- effective communication skills with managers, employees, and guests
- flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to stand and walk constantly with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling or lifting

Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare the highest quality of sushi for guests
- ensure compliance with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies
- provide training and guidance to other team members regarding sushi culinary techniques and plating
- prepare and present all food items, hot and cold, according to sushi outlet standards
- maintain a clean and sanitary workstation including tables, shelves, refrigeration equipment
- adhere to all cleanliness and sanitation regulations
- close the kitchen properly following established closing checklists
- promptly report product shortages, equipment problems, or food quality issues to the Chef
