Job Requirements

  • Passion for Japanese cuisine and a love of learning
  • Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and organized food handling
  • Capability to work collaboratively in team settings
  • Ability to keep workspace neat and stay engaged
  • At least one year of experience in high-volume or guest-facing kitchens preferred
  • For sushi chefs, 1-2 years of culinary experience or formal training preferred

  • Able to maintain organized and neat workspaces

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh vegetable ingredients and perfect sushi rice at the roll station
  • Break down fish and master nigiri and omakase dishes at the front station
  • Coordinate orders and craft sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi at the wheel station
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food handling areas
  • Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure timely and quality service
  • Engage with guests at the sushi bar to enhance their dining experience
  • Adhere to food safety standards and cleanliness protocols
