- Experience in food preparation or sushi making preferred

Job Duties
- Acknowledge, greet, and engage all guests
- Prepare finfish, shellfish, and fresh produce for sushi
- Prepare, test, and maintain food safety records for sushi rice
- Assemble, package, and label sushi, sides, and spring rolls for sale
- Assemble custom sushi rolls per customer requests
- Train and assist other associates
- Comply with company policies and food safety standards
- Inspect and maintain product quality
- Monitor temperatures and shelf life of ingredients and products
- Keep workstation and area clean
- Know sushi menu and ingredients thoroughly
- Market the Food City Sushi Program regularly through sampling
- Assist in ordering supplies to maintain inventory
- Maintain proper signage
- Communicate customer feedback to management
- Perform other duties as assigned
