Passion for Japanese cuisine and a love of learning
Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and organized food handling
Ability to work well in a team and keep a neat workspace
1-2 years of culinary experience or formal training preferred
Experience in high-volume or guest-facing kitchens is a plus

Job Duties

Prepare fresh vegetables and perfect rice for sushi rolls
Break down fish and create nigiri and omakase dishes
Coordinate orders and craft sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi
Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Engage with guests at the sushi bar
