Job Requirements

  • Possession of valid Food Handler Card
  • valid documentation of right to work in the U.S.
  • previous experience working as a Sushi Cook or higher
  • ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds of force frequently
  • drive and ambition with a desire to learn and grow within the team
  • full ownership of your role

Job Duties

  • Maintain food quality and standards ensuring guest satisfaction
  • maintain standards of safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen
  • follow recipes in line with SUSHI SAMBA standards
  • comply with company procedures, recipes and presentation to maximize productivity and profitability
  • execute dishes in a timely and efficient manner to meet and exceed guest expectations
  • liaise with restaurant manager and service staff regarding service issues
