Job Requirements
- Must successfully pass the Company’s sushi chef training program and cooking procedures
- Previous experience as sushi chef highly desirable
- Culinary degree a plus
- Approved food handling training as required by local laws

Job Duties
- Greets and welcomes guests upon arrival to the sushi bar/lounge area
- May be responsible for the preparation of a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking using a variety of kitchen equipment including broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers
- Responds promptly and courteously to guest requests and provides guests with information about food
- Ensures guests are satisfied with food quality and service
- Performs shift opening and closing duties including cleaning the neta cases, cutting boards, equipment, and floors
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, cooking areas, sushi counters, kitchen equipment, refrigeration units and food storage areas
- Reports kitchen/sushi equipment or maintenance issues to the manager on duty and head sushi chef
