Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of culinary experience or culinary education preferred
  • experience working in high-volume and guest-facing food service preferred
  • knowledge of proper food and drink handling and storage

  • commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
  • enthusiasm for learning about Japanese cuisine and beverages

Job Duties

  • Following company policies, state and food safety and sanitation standards
  • maintaining clean and organized workstations by practicing safe and sanitary food handling
  • continued education surrounding Japanese cuisine and beverages
  • preparing sushi ingredients and menu items according to station assignments
  • interacting with guests at the sushi bar to enhance their dining experience
  • progressing through roll case, front case, and wheel sushi stations based on skill level
  • collaborating with kitchen and FOH teams to ensure timely and consistent food preparation
