Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years of Japanese cuisine experience
  • Solid knowledge of all seafood products and culinary techniques
  • Ability to exert up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently to lift or move objects
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must possess a high level of maturity, dependability, and punctuality

Job Duties

  • Oversee quality of seafood products
  • Inspect all supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure company standards
  • Create and develop unique food offerings representing the SUSHISAMBA brand
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to deliver consistent dining experiences
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
  • Manage inventory and monitor waste to optimize costs
