Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a Sushi Cook or in a higher culinary position
Possession of a valid Food Handler Card
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently
Valid documentation to work legally in the U.S.
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Qualifications

Previous experience working as a Sushi Cook or higher
Ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes and standards
Possession of valid Food Handler Card
Valid documentation of right to work in the U.S.
Drive and ambition with a desire to learn and grow within the team
Full ownership of role

Job Duties

Maintain food quality and standards ensuring guest satisfaction
Maintain standards of safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen
Follow recipes in line with SUSHI SAMBA standards
Comply with company procedures, recipes and presentation to maximizing productivity and profitability
Execute dishes in a timely and efficient manner to meet and exceed guest expectations
Liaise with restaurant manager and service staff regarding service issues
