Job Requirements
- FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate required
- demonstrated experience operating heavy-lift Class 2+ drones (16+ lbs)
- technical proficiency in PPK workflows, photogrammetry, LiDAR acquisition, and mapping software platforms
- strong understanding of FAA regulations and flight authorization processes
- ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision
- excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills
- ability to travel on short notice including nights and weekends
- availability for travel 2+ weeks per month
Job Qualifications

- ability to analyze project requirements and convert them into safe, efficient flight plans
- strong understanding of FAA regulations, controlled airspace, and flight authorization processes
- ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision
- excellent attention to detail with strong record-keeping and data-management skills
- must be able to travel with short notice, including nights and weekends
- expected travel 2+ weeks per month based on project schedules and operational needs
Job Duties
- Conduct PPK-enabled drone flights using Class 2+ heavy-lift drones
- capture high-accuracy data for photogrammetry, LiDAR, topographic and construction survey applications
- execute full end-to-end flight operations including mission planning, pre-flight safety checks, and field execution
- prepare and submit flight authorizations, waivers, and required FAA documentation
- maintain compliance, up-to-date flight logs, data records, and equipment checklists
- process, organize, and deliver aerial survey data to project teams in a timely and accurate manner
- support field or office operations when not engaged in drone flights
- uphold and model Primoris safety standards in all aspects of field work
