Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • one to two years of experience in Casino Surveillance or equivalent
  • thorough knowledge of casino operations
  • knowledge of casino games, cheating, and embezzlement scams
  • expertise with video surveillance systems and database software
  • advanced computer knowledge including Microsoft Office
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • fluency in English
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • understanding of federal, state, and local gaming regulations
  • excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • comprehensive knowledge of video surveillance systems and database software
  • advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • Supervising staff and managing daily operations of a designated shift in the Surveillance department
  • supporting operational goals and monitoring performance and profit objectives
  • creating efficient schedules maintaining labor costs and ensuring staffing coverage
  • assisting in departmental budget process and ensuring compliance
  • promoting superior customer service and addressing issues
  • enforcing gaming laws and regulations relevant to Surveillance functions
  • partnering with departments to conduct sensitive investigations
  • acting as liaison between Surveillance room activities and leadership
  • participating in hiring process and staffing recommendations
  • ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and policies
  • safeguarding company assets
  • submitting reports on incidents and violations
  • examining and analyzing processes for compliance enforcement
  • liaising with gaming regulators, law enforcement, and agencies
  • reviewing financial reports for operational efficiency
  • overseeing attendance and time records management
  • maintaining confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
