Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS required
- Handling weekend calls from 7am to 3:30pm rotating schedule is required
- Ability to work per diem day shifts
- Prior experience in operating room or healthcare preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification required
- At least one year prior Operating Room Attendant or related healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to work rotating weekend calls
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Willingness to learn and support nursing staff
Job Duties
- Performs procedures relating to the basic care of the surgical services patient
- Performs technical and ancillary duties related to patient care
- Maintains a clean and safe environment to ensure safe and efficient operation of the unit
- Participates in rotating weekend calls from 7am to 3:30pm
- Assists registered nurses under direct supervision
- Supports sanitation and patient care tasks in the surgical services department
