Job Requirements
- Must be able to work specified hours
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years scheduling experience or related experience and/or training
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Capacity to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- Ability to perform each essential job function satisfactorily
- Willingness to comply with safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards

Job Duties
- Schedules surgical procedures as requested according to established guidelines maintaining the highest level of efficiency
- Facilitates in coordinating a plan of care for patients with various departments throughout the hospital and clinics
- Performs receptionist duties dealing with the general public and medical personnel
- Answers and addresses phone calls and messages routing/involving other appropriate individuals as needed
- Obtains, formulates, sorts, distributes, and files documents and correspondence as directed
