Job Requirements
- Education at associate degree level or equivalent
- Three to five years successful experience in hospital food service management
- Sanitation certification

Job Duties
- Develop and administer departmental budget
- Initiate and approve equipment and supply purchases
- Analyze monthly financial summaries and report to director
- Compile benchmarking and meal cost reports
- Manage sanitation and safety compliance
- Approve vendors and purchase orders
- Manage human resources including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and review patient and cafeteria menus quarterly
- Oversee catering and special function management
- Troubleshoot departmental problems and interact with hospital departments
- Monitor staff training and quality assurance activities
- Implement policies and quality management assessments
- Ensure food preparation according to standardized recipes
