Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Develop and administer departmental budget
  • Initiate and approve equipment and supply purchases
  • Analyze monthly financial summaries and report to director
  • Compile benchmarking and meal cost reports
  • Manage sanitation and safety compliance
  • Approve vendors and purchase orders
  • Manage human resources including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Develop and review patient and cafeteria menus quarterly
  • Oversee catering and special function management
  • Troubleshoot departmental problems and interact with hospital departments
  • Monitor staff training and quality assurance activities
  • Implement policies and quality management assessments
  • Ensure food preparation according to standardized recipes
