- Obtain and maintain ServSafe certification within 90 days of hire
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Some food service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills required
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation
- Ability to follow directions and recipes
- Participate in ongoing education classes

Job Duties
- Oversee all food service operations including food preparation, storage, and delivery
- Manage lounges, dining areas, sanitation, ordering, and scheduling
- Coordinate patient meal services and call center operations
- Coach, train, and discipline food service employees
- Ensure compliance with Huntsville Hospital and regulatory standards for food safety and sanitation
- Monitor and apply cooking methods and kitchen equipment procedures
- Attend ongoing education classes for professional development
