Job Requirements

  • Must hold commercial pilot or airline transport pilot certificate
  • Have airplane multi-engine land and instrument ratings with required flight experience
  • Minimum 400 hours total time including turbine time preferred
  • Able to commit to 35 simulator events annually to maintain qualification
  • Must reside within the Dallas-Fort Worth area
  • Available to work 10 to 15 days monthly with flexible scheduling including long shifts
  • Must meet TSA requirements and commit fully to agreed training sessions
  • Able to work days that may extend up to 11 hours with simulator time typically not exceeding 6 hours

Job Qualifications

  • Commercial pilot certificate or airline transport pilot certificate
  • Airplane multi-engine land (MEL) rating
  • Instrument rating for airplane multi-engine land with minimum 50 hours of multi-engine and instrument experience
  • At least 400 hours of total flight time with 100 hours preferred in turbine aircraft
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 35 events per year for recurrent training
  • Residency within the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area
  • Capacity to work 10-15 days per month and flexible availability for scheduling
  • Strong communication skills across spoken and written mediums at all levels

Job Duties

  • Provide seat support in flight simulators during FAA-approved training sessions
  • Assist clients with varying aviation experience under multiple regulatory frameworks
  • Maintain proficiency as a qualified crew member in simulator operations
  • Support simulator evaluation events conducted by CAE or governing bodies
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to enhance the training experience
  • Adhere to scheduling commitments and complete a minimum of 35 simulator events annually
  • Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a professional and welcoming learning environment
