Job Requirements

  • Commercial or airline transport certificate
  • Airplane multi-engine land
  • Instrument rating with 50 hours of instrument experience
  • 400 hours of total flight time (100 hours turbine preferred) or 250 hours with degree or CAE Academy graduation and permission
  • Must be eligible to meet all TSA requirements
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends
  • Must live within 2 hours of the training facility

Job Qualifications

  • Eligibility to meet all TSA requirements
  • Experience with advanced avionics preferred
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • Must live within 2 hours of the training facility

Job Duties

  • Fulfill the pilot monitoring role during flight simulator training under FAA and/or EASA regulations
  • Attend all elements of the training event including pre-flight and post-flight briefings to support the client’s training and learning experience
  • Maintain professional conduct in all interactions with clients and instructors
  • Complete necessary forms and checklists as required for pilot monitoring role
  • Support instructors and trainees throughout the training session
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures during simulation exercises
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to facilitate training objectives
