Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
  • willingness to learn and be flexible with scheduling
  • ability to comply with safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to obtain necessary licenses or certifications
  • reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • any combination of education and experience equivalent that provides required knowledge, skills and abilities
  • high school education preferred
  • ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates such as local health department certification and state liquor control board certificate
  • cpr certification and/or first aid training preferred

Job Duties

  • demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • outgoing, friendly and courteous demeanor
  • attention to detail and ability to stay organized
  • effective communication skills in various situations
  • provide support to FOH staff while adhering to all safety and sanitation and company policies and procedures
  • interact with staff and guests positively to achieve 100% guest satisfaction
  • knowledge of the menu to assist with guest inquiries and requests and accurately identify food and beverage items
  • greet guests with a smile and appropriate greeting in a timely manner
  • distribute menus and flatware
  • answer phones
  • take to go orders and handle payments accurately
  • accept reservations and manage them to prevent overbooking
  • keep host area neat, clean and organized and stocked with essential FOH items
  • assist expos in delivering food to guests
  • assist bussers with pre-bussing, bussing and resetting tables
  • assist servers with refilling beverages
  • complete tasks for each shift according to restaurant needs
