Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • previous administrative work experience
  • proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • attention to detail
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • physically able to walk, bend, and lift up to 35 pounds
  • legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • successful completion of interview
  • reliable and punctual attendance

Job Duties

  • perform a variety of operational and administrative tasks to support the Chief Pilot Office at each pilot base
  • answer phones and assist pilots with questions
  • maintain base email accounts, faxes, and personal United email accounts
  • manage compliance for pilot crew badges
  • assist pilots and staff with parking, SIDA badges, and background checks
  • update pilot records for First Class Medicals, passports, vaccines, visas, pilot licenses, Line Check and IOE documents
  • maintain the iPad lost, stolen, and loaner equipment and assist pilots with iPad issues
  • maintain supplies for the pilot group including paper, ink, office, crew room and SSD rooms
  • assist the base in operational integrity and reliability
  • maintain entire office supply inventory and issue pilot uniform accessories
