Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or comparable combination of relevant education and experience
- three years of experience in a customer service role or office environment required
- experience in higher education preferred
- ability to perform functions of the job efficiently and cheerfully in stressful situations
- excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- ability to provide high level customer service
- possess the personality and enthusiasm to work with students college staff and general public
- proficient in software applications including PeopleSoft Microsoft Office
- ability to take initiative to follow through and effectively manage multiple projects in a timely manner
- ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals
- finalists must possess excellent proofreading skills and have aptitude for detailed work
- ability to lift a maximum of 30 pounds
- ability to sit for prolonged periods
- ability to engage students at various service points for long periods
- ability to handle confidential material judiciously
- project a professional image including punctuality and attendance
- working knowledge of college services and departments
- availability for some nights and weekends

Job Duties
- Overall budget projection and monitoring and account reconciliation for Student Life and Leadership and student organizations including the food pantry budget
- provide direct support to the Director of Student Life and Leadership through meetings processing referrals assisting email inbox phone calls and scheduling student meetings
- maintain accurate financial records and prepare documentation for auditing
- manage Student Life cash operations including weekly deposits cash outs and point of sale reconciliations
- manage ordering for Student Life and Student Food Pantry and serve as back up to the Basic Needs Coordinator for inventory and promotion
- administer daily functions such as purchasing approvals space requests form processing event coordination communication support and office management
- support Campus Activities Board event planning and budget compliance
- maintain student events calendar and support newsletter production
- serve as secretary for Behavioral Intervention Team assist with conduct appointments and paperwork
- provide front desk support including opening closing office and supervise front desk management
- manage office communications web editing and maintain digital and physical student life information
- maintain and organize Google Drive and Shared Drive including access permissions
- support all Student Life office functions and events
- present a professional image following service excellence guidelines
- participate on committees and assist in event coordination
- ensure regular attendance and perform other related duties as assigned
