Job Requirements

  • Knowledge on food producing process sanitization quality program
  • confectionery foods major recommended
  • relevant experience preferred
  • food handlers certificate preferred
  • knowledge of food producing technique food microbiology and food sanitary safety practice procedure
  • effective communication skills and ability to work in team environment
  • food safety food labeling nutrition related knowledge including FDA
  • ability to multi-task
  • provide good customer service internally and externally
  • bilingual with Spanish is a plus
  • ability to provide constructive feedback and recognition
  • high emotional intelligence with ability to work with and manage diverse teams
  • team player who fosters a collaborative and engaged teamwork environment

Job Duties

  • Responsible for frying donuts placing toppings and decorating pastries and bread
  • general oven duties including checking dough conditioner
  • preparing materials and ingredients
  • scaling and shaping breads loaves and pastries
  • sanitization and maintaining cleanliness of workstation and kitchen
  • organizing bread production and managing production methods
  • prioritizing and finishing daily baking tasks
  • receiving stocking and storing food in designated containers
  • informing supervisors of equipment issues and food supply levels
  • completing production usage and waste reports
  • performing related duties as assigned
