Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in team environments in high-pressure situations
  • Physically capable of assisting with tasks such as lifting equipment, driving vehicles, and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Assist in organizing and supporting community service events that promote fire safety and public education
  • Participate in outreach programs to engage with local residents and provide fire safety tips and emergency preparedness information
  • Assist with management of department records, including incident reports
  • Support day-to-day administrative tasks within the department
  • Provide rehabilitation support for firefighters and emergency responders at active emergency scenes
  • Assist victims, families, and responders during crisis situations and disasters
  • Support event planning, fundraising efforts, equipment and facility maintenance
  • Assist in department social events that foster camaraderie and teamwork
  • Take on special projects to address unique department needs
