Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • SAP experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Create stock transfer orders (STOs) in SAP and follow up on customer order backlog using SAP tools to enhance date visibility, ensure on-time delivery and prevent stock shortages
  • Address basic customer, supplier and broker inquiries related to compliance, imports, and exports, escalating issues as needed in a timely manner
  • Monitor freight forwarder platforms to track inbound and outbound shipments, notify relevant parties of same-day arrivals and provide updated ETAs
  • Communicate with freight forwarders to obtain quotes, oversee import trade lanes, and resolve supply chain disruptions to support on-time delivery, minimize costs and reduce transport delays
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, brokerage, and billing teams to provide accurate information for customs clearance, duty exemptions and proper payment or reimbursement of duties
  • Collaborate with warehouses, suppliers, and freight forwarders to ensure product integrity, maintain pallet quality and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure all imports and exports comply with U.S. regulations, including accurate harmonized tariff classification and ECCN database maintenance
