Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in business supply chain management or equivalent technical school certification
- Alternatively 1-2 years experience in a logistics-facing role identifying and addressing business and customer needs within relevant industry
- Demonstrate understanding and compliance with all applicable quality standardization procedures and processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills especially in phone calls
- Familiarity with freight forwarding and customs brokerage coordination
- Knowledge of DOT IATA and IMDG regulations

Job Duties
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments including domestic freight international air and ocean cargo third-party logistics providers
- Manage documentation for import export compliance including commercial invoices packing lists certificates of origin
- Collaborate with Planning and Procurement teams to ensure product availability while minimizing costs
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues with carriers and customs
- Maintain accurate records in ERP systems and logistics databases
- Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure proper handling packaging and receiving of products
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics processes and cost optimization
- Develop and sustain long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors
- Respond to internal customers through prompt follow-up to order needs inquiries and issues
- Provide insights to vendor about any crucial changes or issues
- Create guidelines and standards for a scorecard and ensure all metrics are followed by vendors
