Job Requirements
- Active degree-seeking student in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management
- Within 12 to 24 months of graduation
- Maximum 30 hours per week availability
- Ability to work in a hybrid onsite environment based in Jacksonville, FL
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask with high accuracy
- Knowledge or willingness to learn US/CA/MX carrier landscape
- Proactively seeks new ideas for continuous improvement
Job Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program such as Transportation & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or similar
- Within 12 to 24 months of graduation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in multiple system platforms
- Demonstrated ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy
- Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and problem solving
- Upholds integrity and organizational values
Job Duties
- Track shipments via phone, email, websites to ensure on time pick up and delivery
- Proactively manage delays and exceptions and escalate as needed
- Timely and accurate review loads for customer invoicing requirements and complete loads
- Update customer orders/loads via phone, email or other media such as online portals
- Run system reports and work with Excel
- Participate in Kaizen projects
- Gain knowledge of transportation planning and routing processes
- Understand the US/CA/MX carrier base landscape
- Additional duties as assigned by the management team
