Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles

- Familiarity with USDA and FDA manufacturing processes

- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain leadership

Job Duties
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that support business objectives and drive cost savings
- Direct and participate in procurement and logistics activities ensuring operational efficiency and timely delivery
- Source, quote, negotiate, purchase, and execute contracts across USDA manufacturing, FDA manufacturing, and restaurant divisions
- Complete supplier program negotiations including rebate programs, volume programs, pricing strategies, and promotional items
- Identify and develop strategic supply sources for products, packaging, and commodities
- Monitor commodity trends to deliver improved cost of goods
- Conduct inventory management and place purchase orders to ensure production supply
- Monitor ingredient prices and make price recommendations
- Manage compliance program including audits and issue resolution
- Build and maintain healthy supplier relationships
- Research deals including alternative products and bundling opportunities to gain negotiating leverage
- Develop and maintain supplier improvement plans in quality, delivery, and cost
- Resolve supplier issues during contract periods
- Take action on profitability research to ensure a profitable business
