Job Requirements

  • High School graduate or G.E.D.
  • minimum 1 year computer experience
  • valid Connecticut driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • skills in basic computer functions and inventory management software

Job Duties

  • Accurately maintaining inventory in the warehouse, stockroom and patient units through use of MMIS and Pyxis software
  • picking and distributing supplies using appropriate units of measure in accordance with pick tickets
  • participating in weekly physical inventory Cycle Counts to ensure inventory accuracy
  • monitoring PAR forecasts and communicating recommended adjustments to Manager to ensure an in-stock position of 98% or higher
  • assuring all supply charges are accurately applied in a timely manner, normally same day as issued
  • maintaining the warehouse, stockroom, and patient supply areas in an orderly and sanitary manner which meets the requirements of health department and life safety codes
  • examining supplies for sterility, integrity, and expiration, and taking appropriate action
