Job Requirements

  • High school/GED preferred
  • Three years institutional cooking experience
  • Food Handlers Certification
  • 2 years food preparation experience
  • Experience with high volume food preparation preferred
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as oven, steam cookers, deep fat fryer, meat slicer, and grill
  • Strong writing/composing skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Food Handlers Certification
  • Experience in institutional or high-volume food preparation
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
  • Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and instructions
  • Good communication skills with kitchen team members
