Job Requirements

  • Major study in hotel management, restaurant management, club management, business administration, accounting, or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02 or GS-11 equivalent
  • Experience in military or civilian club or restaurant operations
  • Experience supervising accounting, supply, planning, and sanitation functions
  • Knowledge of financial, budget, resource management practices
  • Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations
  • Ability to plan, organize, and direct staff and operations
  • Ability to analyze and adjust work operations
  • Eligible for consideration under appropriate military or civilian employment programs

Job Qualifications

  • Major study in hotel management, restaurant management, club management, business administration, accounting, or related field
  • At least 1 year of specialized experience in military or civilian club, restaurant, or hotel management
  • Experience managing restaurant facilities or food service establishments
  • Familiarity with uniform accounting and supply procedures
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
  • Experience in planning and programming club or community activities
  • Ability to mentor and supervise staff
  • Demonstrated skills in resource management and program evaluation

Job Duties

  • Serve as the technical expert for the Community Services Flight
  • Assist the Flight Chief with operational and management tasks
  • Provide guidance on business operations policies, procedures, and publicity techniques
  • Manage and supervise uniform accounting and supply procedures
  • Plan and program club activities and community-wide events
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and security regulations
  • Mentor, motivate, and appraise subordinate supervisors and staff
  • Analyze and adjust work operations to meet program requirements and objectives
  • Utilize available community resources to augment programs and meet installation objectives
