Job Description
This position is located at Naval Station Norfolk in Norfolk, Virginia, a key location for the United States Navy and home to one of the largest naval bases in the world. The Naval Station Norfolk provides a range of support services for military personnel and their families, including Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) programs designed to enhance quality of life and promote well-being. Job Requirements
- Two years or more of experience in a bowling center and/or bowling related programs
- knowledge of military MWR and/or NAF policies and procedures preferred
- ability to deal effectively with subordinates, supervisory and management officials and patrons
- ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- basic understanding of budgeting and activity level financial management
- ability to operate a personal computer and perform basic word processing and spreadsheet tasks using Microsoft and bowling specific software

Job Duties
- Manage daily operations of the bowling center
- superintend and schedule staff activities
- ensure compliance with MWR and NAF policies
- maintain a clean and safe facility environment
- develop and coordinate bowling programs and events
- prepare and manage budget reports
- communicate effectively with patrons, staff, and supervisory personnel
