Job Requirements
- Must have held a FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters positions for at least 1 year
- Must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year at an Air Traffic Services facility
- Must have held an MSS position for at least 1 year in an ATS facility
- Education cannot be substituted
- Must meet qualifications by the closing date of the announcement
- Must provide explanation of managerial workforce planning selection factors in the application
Job Qualifications

- Ability to effectively plan and direct traffic management initiatives
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and air traffic control procedures
Job Duties
- Plan and direct traffic management initiatives at the terminal or en route facility
- Coordinate multiple support activities to achieve traffic management objectives
- Monitor air traffic flow and implement solutions to reduce congestion
- Collaborate with air traffic controllers and other stakeholders to optimize traffic movement
- Analyze operational data to anticipate and mitigate potential traffic disruptions
- Manage communication with relevant FAA departments to align traffic management strategies
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and safety standards
