Job Requirements

  • Must hold an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters position for at least 1 year
  • Facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year in an ATS facility
  • Must have held an MSS position for at least 1 year in an ATS facility
  • Must have held an MSS-2 position or higher for at least 1 year
  • Education may not be substituted for experience

Job Qualifications

  • Held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters position for at least 1 year
  • Been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year in an ATS facility
  • Held an MSS position for at least 1 year in an ATS facility
  • Held an MSS-2 position or above for a minimum of 1 year
  • Must meet qualification requirements based on the level of MSS position
  • Career level eligibility determined by the MSS position chart

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct operations within the terminal or en route facility
  • Oversee multiple support activities including training, quality assurance, and traffic management
  • Manage airspace and procedural compliance initiatives
  • Develop and implement facility plans and programs
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency
  • Monitor and evaluate support service performance
  • Ensure adherence to FAA regulations and safety standards
