Job Requirements
- Must have held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters position for at least 1 year
- Or must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year in a terminal or en route facility
- Or must have held an MSS position for at least 1 year in a terminal or en route facility
- Provide narrative responses addressing four managerial selection factors and an additional selection factor
- Include contact information for at least one reference verifying managerial experience
- Eligible candidates will be evaluated based on FAA Managerial Workforce Planning WP-10.1

Job Qualifications
- Experience holding an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or higher regional or headquarters position for at least one year
- Facility rated or area certified for at least one year in a terminal or en route facility
- Experience holding an MSS position for at least one year in a terminal or en route facility
- Proven ability to manage and supervise air traffic control specialists
- Strong understanding of FAA policies and air traffic control procedures
- Effective communication and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Direct a staff of air traffic control specialists responsible for air traffic assignments within a limited geographic area
- Oversee field facility operations and ensure coordination with several FAA offices
- Ensure compliance with FAA policies and procedural guidelines
- Evaluate and guide air traffic control specialists in dynamic and high-pressure environments
- Manage shift scheduling, staff performance, and operational workflow
- Coordinate training and professional development activities for air traffic control staff
- Implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety
