Job Requirements

  • hold an FAA 2152-FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters position for at least 1 year
  • or be facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year at an ATS facility
  • or have held a MSS position for at least 1 year in an ATS facility
  • eligibility to apply under MSS qualification requirements
  • meet minimum qualification requirements by the closing date
  • managerial experience at MSS-2 level or higher
  • specialized experience in FAA air traffic services management

Job Qualifications

  • must have held an FAA 2152-FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters position for at least 1 year
  • or must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year at an ATS facility
  • or must have held a MSS position for at least 1 year in an ATS facility
  • must currently hold or have held the position of MSS-2 or higher for at least 1 year
  • or FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or higher in a Headquarters or Region position for at least 1 year
  • specialized experience in air traffic services management
  • leadership experience in facility operations
  • knowledge of FAA regulations and procedures
