Job Requirements

  • Must have held FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters positions for at least 1 year
  • Or must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year at an ATS facility
  • Or must have held a MSS position for at least 1 year in an ATS facility
  • Ability to manage and direct air traffic operations
  • Strong communication and decision-making abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Specialized experience in air traffic management
  • Facility rated or area certified at an ATS facility for at least 1 year
  • Experience holding FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters positions for at least 1 year
  • Held MSS position for at least 1 year in an ATS facility
  • Strong leadership and management skills

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct all activities at the Level 9 terminal air traffic control facility
  • Manage the workforce including air traffic controllers, supervisors, and technical staff
  • Ensure operational goals and safety standards are met
  • Coordinate with FAA regional and headquarters offices
  • Oversee development and implementation of air traffic management policies
  • Monitor facility performance and compliance with federal regulations
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in operations
