Job Requirements

  • Specialized experience as defined by FAA
  • Experience in FAA regional or headquarters air traffic positions
  • Facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year at ATS facility
  • MSS position tenure of at least 1 year if applicable
  • Ability to supervise and lead air traffic personnel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Must have held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters positions for at least 1 year
  • Must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year at an ATS facility
  • Must have held a MSS position for at least 1 year in an ATS facility
  • Demonstrated supervisory and leadership experience
  • Knowledge of FAA air traffic control regulations

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct all activities at a Level 6 terminal air traffic facility
  • Oversee air traffic controllers and facility staff
  • Coordinate operational procedures and safety protocols
  • Manage scheduling and personnel resources
  • Liaise with FAA regional and headquarters offices
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and policies
  • Respond to operational incidents and emergencies
