Job Requirements
- Must meet specialized experience as defined by FAA
- must have held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above position for at least 1 year
- or must have been facility rated or area certified for 1 year at an ATS facility
- or must have held a MSS position for 1 year
- qualifications must be met by the closing date of the vacancy announcement
- ability to provide specific examples of leadership and management capabilities in work history
- eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Must have held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters position for at least 1 year
- or must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year at an ATS facility
- or must have held a MSS position for at least 1 year in an ATS facility
- leadership and management experience
- knowledge of FAA regulations and air traffic control procedures
- ability to manage and coordinate technical teams effectively
Job Duties
- Plan and direct all activities at the terminal air traffic control facility
- lead and manage a highly technical workforce including operational and support personnel
- provide air traffic control services throughout the assigned geographic area
- oversee coordination and communication with other FAA offices and teams
- implement strategies to enhance air traffic safety and efficiency
- ensure compliance with all FAA regulations and policies
- foster staff development and uphold a culture of professionalism and safety
