Job Requirements

  • Minimal high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months related experience or training
  • Valid state-issued driver's license
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicle may be required
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects and talk frequently
  • Ability to walk and run to park and retrieve vehicles
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities including close and peripheral vision and adjusting focus
  • Willingness to work in Pittsburgh, PA
  • Eligible to earn tips in addition to hourly wage

Job Qualifications

  • Minimal high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with current address and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicle may be required
  • Strong oral communication skills
  • Clear and informative written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and professional customer service approach
  • Ability to adapt to changes in work environment
  • Exhibits sound and accurate judgment

Job Duties

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of location ensuring valet operations are handled within contractual guidelines
  • Greet guests courteously
  • Ensure customers are receiving timely service
  • Assist customers in and out of their vehicle
  • Drive, park, and retrieve customer vehicles in a safe and professional manner
  • Assist with hiring, training, and coaching an excellent valet team
  • Create a staffing schedule according to the anticipated daily vehicle volume
  • Maintain full compliance to standard operating procedures while ensuring safety and security of vehicles and keys
  • Prepare and process daily paperwork according to audit compliance standards
  • Ensure that drive lanes and crosswalks are clean of debris, water, oil spills
  • Create and implement successful staging plan utilizing all aspects of location layout to ensure maximum parking capacity
  • Quickly distinguish vehicle make and models
  • General knowledge of vehicle operations
  • Substitute for any position if necessary
  • Complete other duties as needed
