Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related industry
- Minimum one year of customer experience
- Spa, salon or resort experience preferred
- Minimum one year of supervisory experience preferred
- Professional Massage Therapy or Esthetician certificate preferred
- Must have verbal communication skills across all enterprise levels
- Must have good presentation skills
- Must have excellent writing and computer skills
- Ability to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts
- Ability to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Travel availability for meetings, trade shows and conferences
- No driving responsibilities
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related industry
- Minimum one year of customer experience
- Spa, salon, hotel or resort experience preferred
- Minimum one year of supervisory or management experience preferred
- Related or direct experience may be considered in lieu of education
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent writing and Microsoft Office computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification as Massage Therapist or Esthetician preferred
Job Duties
- Leads and supervises the Spa treatment and water sanctuary areas
- Assists in creating a motivating environment for team members
- Develops high-performing team through professional development and performance assessments
- Collaborates with upper management to develop Spa treatment and service offerings
- Reviews and refreshes product offerings based on industry trends
- Assists with budgeting, forecasting, inventory, revenue, and margin management
- Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures
- Oversees day-to-day operations including product receiving and training
- Maintains cleanliness, health and safety of pool areas and Spa facilities
- Works collaboratively with other departments to create events and promotions
- Addresses guest and team member concerns promptly and courteously
- Performs other duties to support department operations
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities including hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining employees
