Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of experience in retail, food services or dining operations
- Associate degree in business management, hospitality management, food-related service or related field preferred
- Ability to lead and manage others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards and point-of-sale handling procedures
- Ability to train, motivate and develop staff
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Serve-Safe certification and other applicable certifications within 12 months of hire

Job Duties
- Support and oversee daily operations of retail/convenience store dining location
- Maintain accurate records of operational and inventory procedures
- Plan and implement special promotions, retail updates, or events
- Monitor and adjust staffing and operational procedures to meet customer demand
- Ensure efficient and timely service
- Assist with building a positive work environment
- Conduct routine operational meetings with student employees in leader's absence
- Directly supervise student employment staff to ensure excellent customer service and productivity
- Train staff on food safety, equipment use, and customer service standards
- Interview, hire, orient, and train new student employees
- Recognize and motivate student employees
- Assist with scheduling and staff coverage
- Evaluate student employment performance and manage disciplinary actions
- Assist with inventory control, product ordering, and restocking
- Manage point-of-sale drawers, handle transactions, and assist with daily reconciliation
- Maintain financial records and report discrepancies
- Recommend financial improvements for annual capital budgeting
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of retail location
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Participate in quality control and assurance data collection
- Provide a welcoming and friendly environment
- Resolve customer complaints professionally
- Coordinate maintenance of retail-service equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
