Job Requirements

  • Currently a resident of the State of Texas
  • U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to obtain a SIDA badge and comply with local airport requirements
  • Must possess a current valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Ability to obtain GSC qualification and comply with DOT drug and alcohol program
  • Maintain a well-groomed appearance per company standards
  • Ability to perform physical duties including lifting 70 pounds and working in outdoor conditions
  • Must comply with company attendance standards
  • No current or future work authorization sponsorship available

Job Qualifications

  • Fully functioning, broad knowledge of airline operations
  • Skilled in using logic and reasoning for problem-solving and decision-making
  • Ability to listen to, understand, and communicate ideas clearly
  • Knowledge of applicable Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • Ability to recognize and address performance and safety concerns
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation
  • Understanding of customer service principles and satisfaction evaluation

Job Duties

  • Actively coordinate with all departments to maintain the station's on-time performance, employee morale, and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and guide ground support performance to ensure requirements are met
  • Ensure all equipment including GSE is maintained and available for the operation
  • Oversee day-to-day airport operations to create a safe, secure, and legally compliant service-conscious environment
  • Maintain a safe working environment and institute programs designed to help reduce accidents and injuries
  • Drive performance processes by forecasting operational situations and holding responsible parties accountable
  • Perform daily administrative duties such as building shift bids, payroll, and attendance reports
  • Assure proper administration of labor contracts and agreements
