Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of supervisory experience in patient care
  • Servsafe certificate
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to manage staffing and operational processes
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in healthcare food service
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Effective communication abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Certified Servsafe holder
  • Experience in patient food service or healthcare environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Knowledge of food service systems such as CBORD and EPIC
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Preferred: Master's degree, Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Registered Dietitian (RD)

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership and overall direction for day-to-day patient food service operations
  • Oversee patient and production operations for the Room Service program
  • Manage infant and pediatric formulary and formula preparation
  • Manage staffing levels and reporting processes to ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
  • Assist in the operation of the Food Service Department within a hospital setting
  • Ensure customer service levels meet or exceed expectations in patient care areas
  • Utilize CBORD system and EPIC for formula ordering, distribution, and preparation
