Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or five years of supervisory experience in patient care in lieu of a degree
  • Servsafe certification
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience
  • Ability to manage food service operations within a hospital environment
  • Experience with pediatric dietary management
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Five years of experience in a supervisory role within patient care or food service
  • Servsafe certification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Familiarity with hospital food service systems such as CBORD and EPIC
  • Ability to manage specialized pediatric nutrition needs

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership and direction for day-to-day patient food service operations
  • Oversee patient and production operations within the Room Service program
  • Manage infant and pediatric formulary and formula preparation
  • Maintain staffing levels and manage reporting processes to comply with hospital and regulatory standards
  • Assist in the overall operation of the Food Service Department in the hospital setting
  • Utilize CBORD and EPIC systems for food service management and formula ordering
  • Ensure customer service levels meet or exceed expectations in the patient care areas
